About Iris

I lead a group of highly trained Spanish teachers with a passion for communication.

Experience

I am a Spanish teacher and native speaker, familiar with nuances between European and South American Spanish. This is useful for business and for holidays.

After teaching privately and in primary schools for over 10 years, I trained high school teachers on methodology of how to teach Junior Cert and Leaving Cert classes in the most effective way.

Holding, among others, a diploma in simultaneous translation with Lucille Barnes, I designed bespoke business Spanish sessions for executives, vice-presidents and CEOs in blue chip companies.

Helping to prepare speeches for managerial staff and enhancing communication between expatriates and also between different levels in an organisation.

Special attention is always paid to technicalities and also to important differences between Latin American Spanish (per country of interest) and the Spanish spoken in Spain.
